Announcing Employee Resource Groups!

If you have ever wondered how to get involved in the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts of the University, here’s your answer. Employee Resource Groups are a group of volunteer faculty and or staff members who would like to identify and implement methods to contribute to the 4 Pillars of Excellence for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Workforce, Culture, Students, and Community.

Each group will identify their own objectives and partner with the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) to ensure alignment to the 4 Pillars of Success and will receive ongoing support from the CDI and an Executive Sponsor.

4 Pillars of Excellence

Workforce

Attract, retain and develop a diverse faculty and staff population, who operate with a growth mindset to deliver a first in class experience and education for all our students.

Culture

Foster an inclusive environment that respects, values and appreciates each person for their unique similarities and differences and creates a sense of belonging for all.

Students

Attract, recruit, retain and graduate a diverse student body representative of the local, regional and global communities we serve.

Community

Serve as good stewards in the community and achieve recognition as a highly respected learning institution that is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
