The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education has mandated that athletic training programs be delivered at the graduate level. Based on this mandate, undergraduate athletic training programs will not be permitted to accept new undergraduate students beyond the Fall 2023 Semester. The pre-athletic training minor is designed to prepare students for enrollment in a graduate-level professional athletic training program by meeting the prerequisites mandated by the CAATE and commonly required of graduate degree programs in athletic training.
