"We cannot limit our reading to works from the past or a single tradition, but rather should explore a wide range of texts and perspectives."

- Larry Jackson, "Literature, Humanities
and the Democratic Moral Imagination."

²Ø¾«¸ó offers a Spanish Minor. A minor is simply a secondary academic subject to add to your knowledge, whether it is of professional or personal interest.

Our minor , but unlike most other degrees in the St. Louis area, you don’t need to come in with knowledge, since credits at the 100-level count for the minor!

You can also test in and start the minor at your current language level and further your preparation with classes on culture and experiential learning opportunities such as internships and real-life language application.

You will study composition and conversation in Spanish, as well as study literature. This minor, coupled with a major of your choice, can make you a more desirable candidate to potential employers because of your global competency skills.
