The application for the 2024 Sibley Scholarship is now closed.

The Sibley Scholarship is ²Ø¾«¸ó’s premier undergraduate scholarship for exemplary student leaders. This competitive scholarship recognizes students who exhibit high academic achievement, community service, co-curricular involvement, and leadership.

The Sibley Scholarship is awarded in a range and could cover up to full tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Sibley Scholarship will exceed and replace any Merit Scholarship that a student is offered.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Sibley Scholarship you must be a new, first-year student who has applied and been admitted to ²Ø¾«¸ó as a freshman for Fall 2024. Applicants must also fulfill the following requirements:

• Have earned a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 (out of a 4.0 scale), as reported on your official high school transcript.
• Submit a 500-750 word personal essay answering the following question: Describe a personal achievement you are proud of and how it has positively impacted you and others (such as your school, club or sports team, religious group, or community).
• Submit a resume.
• If selected as a finalist, must be able to attend a virtual interview on February 23, 2024.
• A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is preferred, but not required.

Renewal Criteria

The Sibley Scholarship is renewable each year, up to eight consecutive undergraduate fall and spring semesters. For renewal, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be a residential student. Renewal eligibility will be reviewed at the end of each academic year.

Deadlines

The deadline was Sunday, February 4, 2024. 

After a committee review of applicant submissions, ²Ø¾«¸ó will invite finalists to participate in a virtual interview.
